Residential Program
Teensavers has been solving adolescent problems for over twenty-five years. We provide your child with a safe,
therapeutic and educational setting. Our caring, experienced staff knows how to work with teenagers! We are able to address a teen’s drug addiction, problem behavior or psychological issues in a caring and effective manner. Parents are not “kept in the dark” about their child’s progress. Our clinical staff keeps parents and guardians informed of their child’s therapeutic progress on a weekly basis.
When parents leave their child in our capable hands, rapid changes happen. Children reside in a safe and comfortable residential setting (not an institution). They are involved in a creative, yet intensive treatment environment throughout the day. Our therapeutic program is second to none in the United States. Our approach keeps the children busy, interested and personally challenged. Our academic program provides continuing credit for existing class work (transferable throughout the US), as well as, physical fitness credit for attending our private, professional-training gym three times per week.
Our treatment team consists of highly experienced physicians, psychologists, therapists, credentialed teachers and certified substance abuse professionals. Upon your request, we can also coordinate treatment with your child’s own personal physician, psychiatrist or therapist.
We are a California State Licensed Residential Treatment Program for boys and girls ages 13-17. We specialize in treating adolescents with a multitude of problems. Our Teen Drug Rehab program provides a safe, separation between the child and his/her parent(s) in order to resolve their problem and rebuild and reunite the family.
Teensavers has been a respected leader in the treatment of teen-aged problems for over 25 years. Our approach is honest, straight forward and down to earth. Our staff has specialized training in working with adolescents, and are trained in our trademarked emotional technique the “6 - Basis Feelings.”
Your child resides in a beautiful family style residence during his/her treatment program. Children are under our professional care 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
Staff to Child Ratio
Your child receives staff supervision at a ratio of not less than (1) one clinical staff member per (3) three children. Multi-bed institutions or “wilderness” style programs simply fail to meet this stringent standard of supervision.
Teen Drug Rehab Program for Addictions
Your child’s care is conducted and supervised by Licensed Professionals. Our Treatment Team includes Physicians, Psychiatrists, Clinical Social Workers, Clinical and Family Psychologists, Certified Substance Abuse Counselors and Facility Supervisors. Our staff members are trained in CPR, First Aid and Rescue Techniques. Our Credentialed Academic Staff includes Credentialed Teachers, Tutors, Student Mentors and Administrators.
We realize that children tend to manipulate the world around them in order to get what they want. That’s why we work diligently to teach your child the real difference between needs and wants. Your child learns to be responsible and how doing so is to their own benefit. In turn, this meets the underlying needs of the entire family.
Down-to-Earth Drug Treatment
You can be assured that while your child is in this program, we will address the issues you are concerned about. Our treatment team does not reside in an “ivory tower” dictating all the terms of treatment.
Parents are critical decision makers in the treatment process and are included in the overall plan. Parents are also involved in weekly progress report and family education sessions.
We understand the consequences created by unresolved teenaged issues, and the consequences they could have on your child’s self-esteem and future relationships. We will make a positive difference in your child’s behavior and attitude!
